The priority of both the covers and feature story was to create an expressive reading experience that reflected the style of a maximalist fashion magazine. By combining popping colors, graphic elements and eye-catching photographs, unique themes were developed to carry throughout the feature and uphold the tone and feeling of the contents.

This magazine required a design for a second celebrity based feature. A special layout was developed that utilizes the colors and patterns
of the outfit in the cover photograph to create an funky theme that
encompasses both the contents within the article as well as the
personality of Cyndi Lauper.
